The Wafa news agency reports that Israeli forces shot a young Palestinian man in the leg, near an iron gate erected at the entrance to the town of As-Samu in the occupied West Bank.

He was taken to hospital by Palestinian Red Crescent crews, it added.

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera Arabic, citing local media, reported that Israeli forces raided the city of Nablus and the nearby villages of Kafr Qallil and al-Badhan.

The raids come after Israeli forces wounded three other Palestinians as Israeli settlers raided the village of Turmus Aya, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah. Israeli settlers also attacked Palestinian homes in the village of Kisan, near the city of Bethlehem.
