Several people have been injured after Israelis from illegal settlements stormed Turmus Ayya village, north of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, Al Jazeera reports.

Local sources told Wafa news agency that settlers — under the protection of Israeli forces — attacked the village leading residents to fend them off and triggering confrontations.

Israeli soldiers opened fire at the villagers, wounding three Palestinians, with rubber-coated steel rounds. At least four people were detained from the village.
