As Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides held meetings with Israeli counterpart Isaac Herzog and UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed, several hundred people gathered outside the presidential palace to protest Herzog’s visit, Reuters reports.
Protesting his visit during Israel’s ongoing bombardment of Gaza, the demonstrators held Palestinian flags, declaring Herzog “not welcome”.
