Fine batting by Manzoor, Javed

LAHORE, April 18: Half-centuries by Mohammad Javed and Javed Manzoor helped Moughalpura Whites beat Rising Young Stars Club by two wickets in the inaugural match of the second Wali Khan memorial cricket tournament on Tuesday.

Javed struck 63 while Javed Hafeez 53 as the winners achieved the winning target of 235 for the loss of eight wickets in 27.4 overs.

Earlier, Mohammad Irfan took three wickets for 40 to restrict Rising Stars to a total of 234.
