2 kidnapped girls recovered

SUKKUR, April 18: Acting on orders of the Lahore High Court, police freed two kidnapped girls from Korki Hajano in the jurisdiction of Thari Mir Wah police station in Khairpur district on Tuesday.

Mohammad Ramzan Chandio, resident of Kot Addu, had filed an application at the Lahore High Court, in which he had stated that his two daughters Uzma, 12, and Hawia, 2, were kidnapped three months ago and kept in Korki Hajano village.

In compliance of the orders of the court, the Kot Addu police along with Thari Mir Wah police, raided the Korki Hajano village on Tuesday and recovered both girls from the house of one Aziz Chandio, uncle of the girls.
