LAHORE, April 17: Twenty-four selected weightlifters will participate in M. Naqi Butt memorial tournament to be held on April 25. The lifters will be divided into three groups to compete in clean and jerk competitions.
The group, which will have more aggregate, will be given the main trophy.
Organising committee chairman Zubair Yousuf Butt also announced a panel of referees that includes Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Shakoor, Mohammad Hanif, Abdul Qadeer, Mushtaq Ahmed, Abdul Sattar Rahi, Anjum Rohail, Mohammad Azhar, M Azam Mian, Abdul Ghafoor and Anwarul Haq Butt.
