Cricket: Khurram sparkles

KARACHI, April 17: Khurram Manzoor hammered a brilliant 91 as Malir Gymkhana carved out a close two-run victory over Korangi Friends CC in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club Cricket Championship at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground on Sunday.

Khurram slammed 11 boundaries in his fine inning as Malir Gymkhana collected 205 for 9 in 40 overs.

Korangi Friends CC, in reply, were bowled out for 203 on the last ball of 40th over.

Sajid Qureshi hit seven fours in his defiant 65.
