OKARA, April 17: PML-N provincial president Sirdar Zulfiqar Khan Khosa has said that there is no immediate chance of turning ARD into an electoral alliance.

He was speaking at a press conference here on Monday afternoon at a local restaurant while on way to Lahore from Sahiwal. He had visited Okara on the invitation of PML-N Punjab joint secretaries Zahid Mehr Tor and Mian Muhammad Munir.

Mr Khosa said there was no chance of a strong anti-government movement without Benazir Bhutto and Mian Nawaz Sharif.

On this occasion, Punjab PML-N women wing secretary-general Begum Zakia Shah Nawaz, labour wing chief Syed Mushtaq Husain Shah and others were also present.

He said the presence of Mian Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto was imperative for change in the present set-up. — Correspondent
