SHANGLA: Two neighbours assaulted a nine-year-old boy and filmed the act in Dehrai of Alpuri tehsil here. The police have arrested the two accused.

Alpuri police station SHO Mohammad Arif Khan said that the victim along with his father reported to the police on Saturday that he was returning from his aunt’s home when Nasibur Rehman called him to a shop owned by Azan Ahmad.

“When I went inside the shop, both Nasib and Azan caught hold of me, took my clothes off and started abusing me. They also filmed the act on their mobile phones,” he stated in the FIR.

The boy said that both the accused threatened to kill him if he told someone about the assault.

He said that he informed his uncle about the incident, who then informed his father, and they decided to lodge an FIR against the accused for justice.

SHO Arif said that both the accused had been arrested. He said that the incident took place on December 16.

The police officer said that they lodged FIR under sections 376, 506, 34, 48 of Pakistan Penal Code and section 53 of Child Protection Act and began further interrogation.
