“We’ve just received confirmed reports that 15 Palestinians were killed in Beit Lahiya where they were sheltering in a house,” Al Jazeera’s Hind Khoudary reports from Deir el-Balah, central Gaza.

“There are Palestinians still trapped under the rubble. But the fact that there are no civil defence teams and no ambulances there any more is making it very difficult for us to know what’s happening in that area,” she said.

Beit Lahiya, Jabalia and Beit Hanoon in the northern Gaza Strip have been under siege for more than 70 days.

“Kamal Adwan is the only hospital operating right now in the northern Gaza Strip. It’s also suffering from a lack of medical supplies, and also of doctors and medical personnel,” Khoudary added.
