SUKKUR: A couple riding a motorcycle was gunned down by four armed men, also riding motorcycles, in the Karampur area of Kandhkot on Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Ali Haider Ogahi and Razal Ogahi.

According to the officials at the Karampur police station, the couple had left Ghouspur for Faiz Ogahi village when they were targeted on the way near the village. The victims were rushed to the Sukkur Civil Hospital, where Ali Haider was pronounced dead on arrival and Razal succumbed to her wounds during treatment.

Residents of the village linked the attack to a feud between two rival groups belonging to their community.
