Israeli forces raid Nablus, one injured by live ammunition

A Palestinian man was injured early this morning by live ammunition during an Israeli military raid on the city of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, Palestinian agency Wafa reports according to medical sources.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the man was shot in the chest and foot during the Israeli forces’ incursion into the Old City of Nablus, after which he was transferred to the hospital for medical treatment.

Israeli forces also stormed the eastern part of the city, including the areas around the Balata and Askar refugee camps. Confirmed erupted between the occupation military and local residents, during which soldiers fired live ammunition, sound bombs, and toxic tear gas.
