“We are engaging through a mechanism with France, Israel, and Lebanon to investigate and address reports of violations,” US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said about the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.
According to Reuters, Miller said early ceasefire periods are often fragile but had broadly succeeded in reducing violence.
