BEIJING, Feb 4: China on Monday denied the CIA report submitted to American Congress, alleging continued Chinese assistance to Islamabad in its missile development programme.

“The report has no truth,” a spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Office said.

When asked to comment on a report appeared in a section of the press stating that the CIA reported to the Congress that Pakistan continued to receive “significant assistance” from Chinese entities, the spokesman said “the report does not carry any proof.”

China time and again made it clear that it had not supplied any missile technology or missiles to Pakistan in violation of the Missile Technology Control Regime.—APP
