KARACHI: The IT servers of Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) have crashed due to a malware and cyberattack.

In a stock filing on Friday, DFML said the data has been corrupted, leading to the postponement of the board of directors meeting, which was originally scheduled to be reconvened on Nov 28.

The company mentioned that the restoration of its information system and financial data, including that of the first quarter ending Sept 30, 2024, is necessary and will take considerable time.

As a result, the board meeting has been postponed until the restoration is completed.
