KARACHI: Accused deny charges

KARACHI, April 13: Two men accused of kidnapping a boy for ransom, denied prosecution charges, recording their statement before an anti-terrorism court in Karachi on Thursday.

Ateeq and Fareed are charged with the kidnapping of Owais from Saeedabad demanding Rs500,000 as ransom from abductee’s family,

ATC, headed by Judge Ghulam Ali A Samtio, fixed April 18 for hearing closing arguments of Special Public Prosecutor and defence counsel.—PPI
