Strike today

LAHORE, April 12: The Qaumi Tajir Ittehad, Lahore chapter, has decided to observe a peaceful shutterdown strike on Thursday (today) to mourn killings of innocent people in Tuesday’s Karachi blast.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the organization here on Wednesday, says a press release issued by secretary-general Nazir Chohan.

Some city market remained closed on Wednesday too. They included Azam Cloth Market, Shah Alam Market and Urdu Bazaar besides the Lahore Stock Exchange to condemn the incident.
