QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail on Thursday asked graduates and post-graduates of the University of Balochistan to utilise their skills and knowledge for the betterment of the country and humanity.

The governor was speaking at the university’s 21st convocation during which 25 PhDs, 27 M.Phil and 415 graduate degrees, and 34 gold medals were awarded.

The governor highlighted graduates’ unique position in history and noted their advantage as the most educated and globally connected generation.

“You grew up in the age of technology, with the world at your fingertips,” he said.

He praised the university’s faculty for transforming the lives of thousands of students and contributing to societal development.

Encouraging graduates to respect their parents, he described them as pillars of strength and urged them to contribute to Pakistan and Balochistan’s prosperity.

“You are the future leaders and scientists who will ensure a bright and secure tomorrow for the nation,” Governor Mandokhail said.
