Nazim flouts ban on meals

VEHARI, April 10: District Naib Nazim Yousaf Kasailia on Sunday night served numerous dishes to scores of guests on the eve of his Walima ceremony here in Burewala, flouting the Supreme Court’s ban on marriage meals.

DCO Mohammad Ayub Qazi, acting DPO Abdul Majeed, MNAs, MPAs, tehsil nazims of Vehari, Burewala, Mailsi, lawyers and journalists were also present on the occasion.

Various social circles have urged the Punjab government and the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take action on this violation and demanded appointment of a judge at district level to implement the SC order.
