ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto has reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to espouse the Palestinian cause, and his Government will spare no effort now, or in the future, to uphold the demand of our Arab brethren for the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. The Prime Minister said that the Pakistan delegation at the [UN] had been instructed to offer every possible cooperation to the PLO and other Arab delegations for the adoption of a suitable resolution on the Palestine issue. — News agencies

He said … that the Jewish lobby was so strong that it apparently controlled the Congress. “We have the Israelis coming to us for equipment.
