The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) has said that it evacuated 20 patients last night from Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
Out of those, “one patient tragically passed away due to prolonged delays at the military checkpoint”, the PRCS said on X.
The 14-hour mission was “coordinated with the International Committee of the Red Cross”, it added.
