SRINAGAR, April 8: A corpse recovered from a lake in occupied Kashmir was identified on Saturday as that of a missing Taiwanese woman, police said. Police said the body of Huang Sui Chin, 52, who disappeared on March 22, was recovered from Nigeen lake in Srinagar, earlier on Saturday.
Nigeen lake adjoins Srinagar’s famed Dal lake, a scenic tourist spot.
Police were investigating the cause of death and awaiting an autopsy report, the officer said.—AFP
