The Israeli military said it intercepted a “suspicious aerial” target over the occupied Golan Heights and another was making its way to Israel “from the east”, Al Jazeera reports.

The phrase often refers to projectiles fired from the direction of Iraq.

There was no immediate comment from the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an Iran-aligned umbrella group that has stepped up drone attacks on Israel in support of the people of Palestine and Lebanon.

The Israeli military also said it intercepted more “suspicious aerial targets” that crossed from Lebanon.
