A dialogue among Palestinian factions in Cairo has been “positive”, senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan told the Palestinian fighter group’s Al Aqsa TV, though he added that he did not want to rush to any conclusions.
According to Reuters, Hamdan also said that Hamas had not received any new written proposals regarding a possible ceasefire in Gaza, where the group has been battling Israeli forces for more than a year.
