Five shot in two incidents

SHEIKHUPURA, April 7: Five people were murdered in two separate incidents in various parts of the district on Friday. Three people were killed and one injured when two rival groups exchanged fire in Shamke village in the limits of Ferozewala police.

Kalo, his son Faqeer Husain and accomplice Rana Rashid died on the spot, while Kalo’s brother Riaz sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital.

Police claimed there was an old enmity over a piece of land between Kalo and Fiaz groups.

Mustafa with the help of his accomplice shot dead Mohammad Husain and his son, Sarwar, over a land dispute in Dera Khokran in the jurisdiction of Sharaqpur police.
