Spain says its forces will continue to contribute Unifil

Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares says his country will continue to contribute to the UN’s peacekeeping force in Lebanon.

“We will remain in Unifil and have provided 5.5 million euros in humanitarian aid, and we will continue to support the Lebanese army,” he said in a post on X, sharing a photo from his meeting with his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Bou Habib in Barcelona.
