Irfan’s triumph

KARACHI, April 6: Irfan's team accumulated 95 Victory Points (VPs) to win the 4th edition of Suspense Bridge Championship at Aslam Bridge Hall, says a press Pakistan Bridge Federation (PBF) press release issued Thursday.

Irfan's team having Maqbool Khan, Asghar Abbas and Ibrahim Baig thrashed Adnan's team 18-12. They got better of Nasir 20-10 and kept up their winning strides with an impressive 21-9. Irfan's team beat Hamid Mohiuddin's team 17-13 and ended in style routing Zia team 19-11.

Hamid Mohiuddin finished second with 93 VPs and Ziaullah Baig secured third spot with 84 VPs.

Karachi Bridge Association (KBA) the week-end contest will be held at same venue from Friday at 6.00 pm. The competition will be played on Mitchel Movement.—APP
