KHAIRPUR, April 6: An FIR was registered against 40 people, including the naib nazim UC Priyaloi, by the Faiz Mohammad Bindo police on Wednesday evening.

Sub-inspector Shahzaman Dahar lodged the FIR against Abdul Razzaq, Ahsan, naib nazim UC Priyaloi, Abdul Haq, Gulabi, Ishaque, Amanullah, Shoban, Zameer, Aamir, Ali Dino, Imam Dino and others, all residents of Qaimuddin Odho Village, Kingri taluka.

He said in the FIR that police had gone to arrest some accused nominated in an FIR, but these villagers resisted and clashed with the police, broke the windscreen of two police vehicles and opened fire on another police. After firing, the villagers escaped.

Meanwhile, villagers told reporters that police trespassed into their houses and manhandled the villagers without any reason. They said that it was a fake case, there was no firing and no police vehicle was damaged and said that it was all a drama.
