ISLAMABAD, April 6: The government on Thursday cancelled the arms licences issued to Balochistan Nationalist Party (Mengal) chief Akhtar Mengal by the federal and provincial governments, the interior ministry’s spokesman said.
He said the licences were cancelled for abducting law- enforcement personnel, manhandling them and kepping them in illegal confinement at Mr Mengal’s Karachi residence.
