MITHI, April 6: Tremors were felt in Tharparkar and Badin districts on Thursday besides some parts of bordering Bhuj district of India, according to an official of Met department in Tharparkar.

People in Mithi, Diplo, Nagarparkar, Chachro, Islamkot talukas, Thariyo Halepoto village and other parts of Tharparkar district came out of houses and business centres with the occurrence of the earthquake at about 5.30 p.m.

The tremors lasted a few seconds.

According to local Met department, the epicentre of the quake was in the Run of Katch in Indian desert of Rajasthan.

Tremors were also felt in Badin district and Umerkot twice on Thursday.

The first tremors which hit around 4.07pm were milder than the tremors felt at 11.00pm.

No loss of life or property was reported from any of the places. —-APP
