The acting director of al-Awda Hospital says the hospital has been inundated with casualties, as dozens of injured people continue to arrive daily, Al Jazeera reports.

“Israeli forces are targeting everything that moves in northern Gaza,” Mohammed Saleh said in a statement.

Medical staff are grappling with severe shortages of medicines, supplies and fuel, while food is running critically low for both patients and healthcare workers, he added.

“If the siege continues, we are on the brink of a disaster,” Saleh warned.

He called on UN agencies and international partners to urgently facilitate the delivery of medical supplies, fuel and food to sustain the hospital’s operations.
