Kamala Harris, the US vice president who is running for the White House, condemned Hamas’ October 7 attack as Israel marks the one-year anniversary of the assault that sparked the onslaught in Gaza, AFP reports.
“What Hamas did that day was pure evil — it was brutal and sickening,” Harris said in a statement.
“I am heartbroken over the scale of death and destruction in Gaza over the past year. “
