Austria calls for truce in Gaza

The country’s foreign ministry says a ceasefire in Gaza is needed “to get the hostages out and more humanitarian aid” into the enclave, Al Jazeera reports.

In a post on X, it said: “We have to encourage those reasonable voices working towards a political solution.”
