ISLAMABAD: Government of the United Kingdom and Middle East institutions will provide jobs to Pakistanis around the world by creating 280 skills centres in Pakistan.

According to a statement, in this regard a high-level British delegation is on a two-day visit to Pakistan to discuss possible cooperation with Pakistan in education, with a special focus on Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).

The delegation include House of Lords memberLord Boateng, University of London Vice-Chancellor Wendy Thomson, University of Greenwich Vice-Chancellor Professor Peter Edward, Queen Mary University Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Richard Grose, Tony Degazon, City and Guilds.

The purpose of the delegation is to take initiatives for skill development as per the needs of the industry in Pakistan. The purpose of the delegation is to take steps to develop skills according to the needs of the industry in Pakistan.

Federal Secretary Education Mohiuddin Wani, Chairperson of National Technical Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NUTEC) Miss Gulmina will discuss with the delegation on behalf of the Pakistani government.

On this occasion, the delegation was told that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Federal Minister Khalid Maqbool and Minister’s Adviser Rana Mashhood give priority to education.

Higher training should be provided to as many people of Pakistan as possible in accordance with the requirements of the modern era so that these people can offer their services in the best way not only in Pakistan but around the world.
