KARACHI: Bangladesh High Commissioner to Pakistan Ruhul Alam Siddique discussed recent political developments in Dhaka on Sunday and reiterated his country’s commitment to working with Pakistan to enhance bilateral relations.

He spoke at a programme on “Strengthening People-to-People Ties Between Bangladesh and Pakistan,” organised by the Karachi Council on Foreign Relations (KCFR).

Addressing the Pakistani community, the high commissioner extended an invitation to both governments and civil society to actively contribute to strengthening ties between the two nations, with a shared vision of progress and cooperation.

This renewed focus on collaboration sets the stage for a prosperous partnership, benefiting both countries and contributing to regional stability and development.

Earlier, the KCFR chairperson noted that Pakistan and Bangladesh are forging stronger ties, as both nations share a rich history and a promising future.

She emphasised the bond between the people of Pakistan and Bangladesh, highlighting the vast opportunities for collaboration across various sectors. These partnerships hold great potential for mutual benefit, development, and growth, she added.
