Tehsin leads

KARACHI, Feb 4: Twenty teams including the national neam members are taking part in the Karachi Open Bridge tournament which commenced Sunday at the Aslam Bridge Hall.

Three rounds have been completed on the opening day and Tehsin, comprising Tehsin Gheewala, Mohsin Chandna, Jamal Nizami, Gulzar Bilal and Raees is leading by winning all the three matches against Jamal 20-10, Friends 25-4, and Puri 23-7 V.P. Tehsin have collected 65 victory points.

Masood Salim 58, CNG 58, Puri 57 and Candyland 54 are other leading teams, three of them winning all the three matches from their respective openers. Puri collected 50 out of possible 50 in two matches against Atiq 25-0 and Friends 25-4, but lost the last match to CNG 2000.

Following are the top ten teams:

Tehsin 65, Masood Salim 59, CNG 58, Puri 57, Candyland 54, Rashid 51, Adventures 49, Attackers 48, Mahmood 46 and Aces 46 victory points.—APP
