TOBA TEK SINGH: Faisalabad sessions court on Friday extended interim pre-arrest bail of two PTI parliamentarians and a leader till Oct 1 in a case pertaining to alleged attack on ISI office and the house of ex-minister Rana Sanaullah on May 9, 2023.

Faisalabad District and Sessions Judge Rehan Bashir, exercising powers as a duty judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court, extended until Oct 1 the already granted interim pre-arrest bails of PTI West Punjab President MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz, MPA Rai Muhammad Murtaza Iqbal and a party leader Chaudhry Asif Ali. The same court had also extended the bail before arrest of former provincial law minister Muhammad Basharat Raja on Thursday.

The PTI leaders were accused in four cases registered against them on the charge of attacking the ISI building and the house of former federal interior minister Rana Sanaullah in May 9 riots after the arrest of PTI founder Imran Khan.
