Delhi crush PCB Green

LAHORE, March 31: A fine 62 by Asha Rawat enabled Delhi Blues crush PCB Greens by 41 runs in the first of five match women series at the Bagh-i-Jinnah on Friday.

Asha faced 88 balls and hit six fours as the visitors scored 218-7 in 50 overs. From PCB Greens Asmavia Iqbal captured two wickets for 39 runs.

PCB Greens were all out for 177 in 43.3 overs, despite a fighting knock of 61-ball 53 which contained ten fours by opener Taskeen Qadeer.

Batool Fatima scored 30. Amita Sharma (2-26), Surbhi (2-33) and Reema Malhotra (2-34) were the main wicket takers. Asha was adjudged the Woman-of-the-Match.
