Two minors burnt alive

KHANPUR, March 31: Two minor children burnt alive in a blaze while playing outside their house in Dashti village of Thal Hamza area in Liaquatpur tehsil on Thursday evening.

Brothers Fayyaz, 5, and Niaz, 3, were playing in an open area some distance away from their house near a pile of wood when a fire broke out. Their mother who was busy in cooking, rushed out to their creams and found them engulfed in the fire.

She screamed for help. Her husband and other villagers rushed to the place and dragged the kids out of fire, but could not save them. The police are investigating the cause of fire.—APP
