BAHAWALPUR, March 31: Several deserving people of Uch Sharif have complained that they have not received any aid for medical treatment for the past six months from the Baitul Maal fund.

Applicants Mahar Ali, Irshad Ahmad and others alleged that they had applied for Baitul Maal aid for their treatment about six months ago but so far they had not been paid.

They stated that they had been frequently visiting the district Baitul Maal office in bahawalpur but to no avail.

They appealed to the district nazim, DCO and chief minister for monetary help for their treatment.
