TIMERGARA, March 31: Four persons were killed when two rival groups clashed in Barawal area of Upper Dir district on Friday, police said. They said that both groups having old blood feud had recently entered into compromise.

According to police one of the groups led by Mohammad Jafer attacked the residence of Shad Haji, which resulted in the killing of Jan Mohamnmad, brother of Shad Haji and his cousin Abdul Shakoor.

Later on Haji Shad’s supporters attacked Jafer and his relatives when they were on their way back to home. Two relatives of Jafer who had been identified as Waheed Gul and Yousaf were killed in the encounter. Police had registered FIRs against both groups.
