QUETTA: Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif on Friday assured Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti that the federal government would extend all help and cooperation to the provincial government for eliminating acts of terrorism and restoring peace in the province.

The defence minister gave the assurance to the chief minister during a meeting on law and order in the provincial capital.

Mr Bugti told the meeting that the provincial government and security forces are striving to eliminate terrorist activities and restore peace in the province.

He said cowardly terrorists are targeting poor labourers and innocent people as they are their soft targets.
