Charsadda man, wife killed by sons over property dispute

CHARSADDA: A man and his wife were killed allegedly by their sons over a property dispute in Hassanabad Jaindi area in the limits of Tangi police station here on Tuesday.

The police and residents said that Ahmed Shah, Yunas and Hassan Shah allegedly shot dead their father, Zahir Shah and stepmother, Janatha, and injured their stepbrother, Wajid.

Injured Wajid reported to the police that he along with his father and mother was present in the house when his stepbrothers barged inside and started indiscriminate fire.

As a result, he said his father and mother were killed on the spot, while he received injuries. He said that a property dispute was the cause of the incident.

The Tangi police registered a case and started investigations.
