PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) opened a sub-office of its south region in Kohat to facilitate the taxpayers.

Deputy Commissioner Abdul Akram Chitrali formally inaugurated the sub-office along with KPRA team, according to a statement issued here on Friday.

The office is located in KDA Complex which was opened on the directives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur for the convenience of taxpayers of Kohat and its adjacent areas.

The revenue authority provided an assistant collector and his staff in the office to address the issues of taxpayers. The office would also help KPRA in improving tax compliance in Kohat, Hangu, Karak and nearby areas.

Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said that KPRA’s office was a blessing for the local businessmen and traders who had to travel to Bannu previously for submitting their sales tax turns, the statement concluded.
