LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has deployed 24 additional immigration officials at the Allama Iqbal International Airport here to facilitate passengers.

According to the FIA, the 24 officials, who recently completed a course, have been stationed at Lahore airport with each of them assigned a separate desk.

Passengers will be able to seek assistance from the FIA officials on any issue, including immigration round the clock, it says.

The FIA says it has taken the decision on the special instruction of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
