CHARSADDA, March 28: A seven-year-old boy was criminally assaulted by a teenager in Merzadher village near here on Monday. The boy, identified only as ‘S’, had come from Bearghari village to his grandfather’s home in Merzadher village. After he went out of the house with other children, he was forcibly taken to nearby fields and criminally assaulted by an 18-year-old boy.

Doctors, according to sources, have confirmed that ‘S’, was criminally assaulted.

His relatives have lodged an FIR against the accused at the Ternab police station.

SP (investigation), Danishwar Khan, when approached on Tuesday, said that police were searching for the accused.

Sources said that police had arrested all male family members of the accused.

However, the SP denied the arrests, saying that some members of the family of the accused had been called to the police station for investigation.
