LARKANA, March 28: Punhal Soomro on Tuesday submitted, on behalf of 24 members of the Awam Dost Panel, to the convener of the Qambar-Shahdadkot District Council a requisition for a session of the council. He said only an introductory session of the council had been held in six months while other councils in the province had held three or four sessions and had discussed problems of their respective areas.
Meanwhile, Mr Soomro also submitted an application with District Nazim Nawab Shabbir Ahmad Chandio for declaring April 4 as a local holiday to pay tribute to Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
