MUZAFFARGARH: A man who had allegedly unleashed his dog on a woman was arrested on Monday.

The district police officer ordered Karam Daad Qureshi Station House Officer SHO Abdul Rauf to register a case against the suspect.

The SHO told this correspondent that a woman went to Fayyaz Ahmad’s house to complain about the children’s fight when Ahmad’s dog attacked and injured her. She was sent to hospital for treatment.

The woman, who could not be identified, approached the district police officer and alleged that Fayyad had unleashed his dog on her.

SUICIDE: A robber allegedly committed suicide after he was rounded up by angry citizens.

A citizen was chased by the suspect, later identified as Asif Polli, a resident of Sanawan, during a robbery bid on the Thermal Road. According to police, when the locals surrounded the suspect, he allegedly shot himself dead.

Asif’s body was shifted to the DHQ hospital. The police say the injured citizen, who could not be identified, had also been shifted to the hospital.
