KARACHI: The first edition of the Techstirr Pvt. Ltd. National Juniors Tennis Championships concluded here at the DA Creek Club on Monday, with thrilling finals under overcast conditions.

In the Under-18 singles final, Asad Zaman from Lahore emerged victorious against Hyderabad’s Muza­mmil Bhand 7-5, 6-3.

In the girls U-18 final, Natalia Zaman outclassed Daliah Shazim, winning 6-0, 6-0.

The boys Under-14 final saw Ismail Aftab triumph over Ali Bachani of Hyde­rabad 4-0, 4-1.

Romaisa Malik won the girls Under-14 title, defeating Eschelle Asif 5-2, 5-3.

Rashid Bachani of Hyderabad secured the boys Under-12 crown, beating Mohammad Junaid of Peshawar 4-1, 4-2.

In the doubles finals, the duo of Asad and Kashan Tariq won the U-18 title, while Ismail and Hazik Areejo claimed the boys U-14 honours. Majid Bach­a­ni and Ibra­him Gill won the boys U-12 title while Eschelle and Ro­m­­a­isa won the girls U-18 decider.
