TOBA TEK SINGH: Pakistan Tehrik-i- Insaf MNA from Jaranwala (NA-96) Rai Haider Khan Kharal has been booked by police on the charge of developing a housing scheme in Jaranwala without getting official approval.

The case was registered on the complainant of Ahmad Ibrahim, Deputy Director Town Planning, the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), under sections 420, 468 and 471 of PPC and 32, 33 and 34 of the Punjab Development of Cities Act that accused MNA of committing fraud with people and FDA by launching the housing scheme ‘Haider Orchards Jaranwala’ without getting approval from the FDA.

He said development in the housing scheme and sale of plots could not be initiated without prior approval of the scheme.
